Heather Emanuel, GCFP, LMT (formerly Heather Danso) helps her clients find more comfortable ways to be themselves. Influenced by her experiences as a dancer, teacher, movement educator, and through her own injury recovery, Heather believes in empowering her clients. A Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner since 2018, she has also studied anatomy and kinesiology extensively. A keen non-judgmental observer, Heather’s touch is informative and effective, helping her clients discover new possibilities for movement and comfort, and find more creative ways to work with pain, movement limitations, and habits. Her clients vary; many are recovering from acute or chronic injuries, repetitive stress injuries, or have other chronic conditions. All are interested in feeling and moving better, whether in daily activities like walking and doing the dishes, or in dance, skiing, golf, or artistic pursuits. Heather believes that healing is not returning to a former state of being; instead, it is moving forward with new knowledge, wisdom gained from injury, experience, and maturity. A selection of recorded classes are available through her Patreon.

Heather currently offers Functional Integration sessions in-person, Awareness Through Movement classes online and in-person, and workshops online and in-person.
